Assisting Hands Schaumburg would like to congratulate our caregiver of the month, Elon Nabatanzi.
Elon moved to the United States from Uganda in 2016 and joined Assisting Hands Home Care this past year. After helping her grandparents with their health needs; she felt inspired to help others. She is currently enrolled in C.N.A. classes and considering a career in nursing.
Elon helped us a lot several times when responding to unexpected changes in schedule.
At her newest live-in assignment Elon decided to help take care of the house, which the client was unable to do for an extended period of time. It’s easy to see that Elon puts a lot of effort to make a positive difference for her clients. They appreciate that she keeps their home clean, comfortable and safe, and they have enjoyed her meals as much as she has enjoyed cooking them!

Ron Menely and his wife, Sharon, have lived in Hoffman Estates for over 30 years. They met during their college years and both went on to hold careers dedicated to Teaching. Ron was also a Track and Field Coach for many years and proudly recalls that most of his students were successful in earning scholarships toward their future education goals. It has been our pleasure to provide home care for Ron and Sharon Menely.
