Assisting Hands is proud to help and serve our communities. For the month of June, partnered with the Young Professionals of the Schaumburg Business Association and donate to our local food pantry in Schaumburg.
Effect of COVID-19 on Food Pantries
The food pantries across the country have been hit hard by COVID-19 and are having to adjust not only in need but also how they function. With an increased need from the community comes an increased need in donations. If you are interested in joining your local food pantry, simply go to foodpantries.org and type in your address. They will provide a list of pantries within miles of your home.
